Poet Michael Heller's thrilling new book, Constellations of Waking (Dos Madres), has just been published. A libretto based on the life of Walter Benjamin, this tome is a lyrical odyssey, a bracing commentary on the collision of humankind and history. I have heard this work performed live and it is deeply immersive and moving.
